  • Vacation must be purchased through a participating American Express Travel Services location in the U.S. 

  • Benefit is only available one time per Card account per calendar year (based on date of final payment) - regardless of the number of qualifying vacations booked. 

  • Cardmembers having multiple accounts may only redeem one Annual Travel Benefit per vacation booking.

  • Both deposit and final payment must be made on an American Express Card.

  • Benefit is not valid for group bookings and may not be combinable with other promotions or discounts.  (To repeat, the benefit is combinable with all supplier-sponsored promotions.  The “may not” is there for protection in cases of price-matching discounts or locally-funded offers.  See “combinability” section below.  In the case of groups or extensions on group bookings, offices may use their discretion to offer the Card Annual Travel Benefit if the economics allow and it’s necessary for client goodwill.)

  • Although the Annual Travel Benefit is not considered an embedded benefit of any corporate Cards since it is a leisure travel benefit, you may honor the offer if a client is paying with a Small Business or Corporate Card and their company policy allows them to pay for personal vacations with it.

  • Cardmember agrees account may be debited $100, depending on initial credit amount, if vacation is cancelled for any reason and the purchase price (less any applicable cancellation fees or penalties) is credited to the account.

  • American Express reserves the right to withdraw or alter this benefit at anytime without advance notice.
